SADDQA IS THE SOURCE TO REMOVE ALL HARDSHIPS AND CIRCUMSTANCES

Saddqa is the resource to remove all hardships and circumstances. Sadaqah is an act of charity that you do voluntarily without seeking any return from its benefactor, but from Allah S.W.T. Sadaqah is not obligatory, and there is no limit to how much you can give. You can give Sadaqah whenever you like and as much as you can. Sadaqah works as a shield against unseen calamities.

It protects the giver from hardships and secures his wealth. We face severe challenges in life that come at unexpected moments. Such times give us the opportunity to empathize with the people who are facing a similar situation as we do. We know that Prophet Muhammad (saw) was ‘more generous than the blowing wind’, giving his food, money, and belongings to the poor and often letting himself go hungry.

The Prophet (saw) had an impeccable character and there is wisdom and immense rewards in following his exemplary behavior. The Quran and Sunnah practices of the Prophet (saw) repeatedly highlight the importance of giving Sadaqah and Allah (swt) has promised rewards to those that do. Here are ten reasons why you should be giving Sadaqah on a regular basis.

A return on investment is not something you would normally associate with charitable donations. Nonetheless, Allah (swt) promises us that he will increase our wealth, and sustenance and bring us success in this life and in the hereafter when we give Sadaqah. On the Day of Judgment, we will all be held to account for every sin we have committed major and minor.

No matter how hard we try, we are only human, and sinning is inevitable. That is why it is important for us to give Sadaqah regularly to expiate our sins. Our purpose in life is to strive in the way of Allah through worship and good deeds to attain righteousness and one cannot attain righteousness without spending for the sake of Allah.

Our wealth is a test from Allah and can even be a burden; we are accountable for how we spend it. We must spend on charity to extinguish worldly desires and attain the reward of the Hereafter.
